The Bethesda Senior Center’s annual Pre-Labor Day Pool Tournament went off without a hitch. The seniors had a terrific time. They even got a surprise video from actor, musician and writer, Jerome Brooks. If you are a fan of Power, you saw J.J. this season. He has appeared on suits and a host of other television series. He is also an accomplished Broadway actor. J.J. took the time to watch these guys play on my Chief of Staff’s live feed, then make a video tape wishing them all the best of luck.
We were also honored to have a constituent, Angelia come out to help us set up and serve the seniors. Giving back to the community and to my constituents is what it is all about in District 100. Our constituents are the best, and they are the reason I do what I do. Thanks to all who made the day a success. My team and I look forward to hosting the tournament again next year.
