MLK day this year was cold and rainy, but it didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the marchers in town. It has been an honor to MC the Rally for the past 10 years.

As we celebrate the 37th Anniversary of Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. National Holiday, I think about when we use to march on the State Capitol. This was taken the last time in 1983 That was the year MLK day was made a holiday effective in 1985 . Enjoy this day as it is a day on and not off. Remember on this day, that we must continue to fight and protect voting rights.
