Even state representatives get purged
The Republican Secretary of State’s office is purging the voter rolls. Do you think they are only purging voters who haven’t voted in several elections? Do you think it cannot happen to you? Think again.
This is former state representative Shelly Hutchinson. Imagine her surprise when she was still serving as a State Representative, she found herself on the inactive voter list. I can assure you that Shelly has voted in every election that she can, but nonetheless, the Secretary of State’s office had her on the inactive rolls.
t seems that the Secretary of State’s office sent Shelly a voter verification postcard that the Post office returned.
Shelly straightened the matter out, but this incident clearly shows that getting removed from the voter rolls could happen to anybody.
