These past few weeks have been very difficult on the political front. First, the former President is convicted of 34 felonies in a New York court. Shortly afterwards, the United States Supreme Court ruled that a President has immunity for official acts committed while he is in office. It almost sounds like if the former President shot somebody on 5th avenue while President, it would be considered an official act.
The best thing to combat this kind of abuse of our constitution is to exercise your right to vote. Do not take this right for granted. This November we will have to choose between a party of unlawfulness and lawlessness or Democrats who want to preserve Democracy.
Now, let’s celebrate our country’s freedom and independence because freedom is not free. I want to wish everybody a safe and happy 4th of July holiday
