The legislative session is over and the school term is ending, but there is no end in sight for events and chances to get involved in your community. Here are a few items:

The Public Service Commission is important because they determine the rates we pay for natural gas and for Georgia Power electric. Right now, Republicans control the PSC and that is the reason our rates are so high!
Poll Watchers for the Public Service Commission Election.
Help keep our elections secure and fair!
The Voter Protection team at the Democratic Party of Georgia is recruiting poll watchers for the PSC primary. It is important to have members of our own team watching the polls to keep our election fair! Please sign up here if interested.
Help get inactive voters back to voting
We need all hands on deck for the Public Service Commission race and for our elections. Many voters are inactive and may be purged from the rolls soon.
The Democratic Party of GA needs help contacting inactive voters by phone to get them to update their registration. Can you help the Democratic Party of Georgia in theses efforts?. Sign up here.
I urge you to take advantage of these opportunities to voice your opinion to our elective representatives and take part in elections. Citizen participation is what makes democracy work!
